Question To Esther | Curious To Know Dear Esther Pt 1

Dear Esther,

I would love to know about you. I see your image on the page, but I would love to know about you. Who are you? When did you give your life to Christ? How old are you? Are you married? Kids? Grandkids? What church do you attend? Tell me about you!!!

Signed,

Curious to know Dear Esther

Dear Curious to Know About Me,

Yes! With pleasure, and I will do my best to satisfy your curiosity, starting with my biography. However, I will need to split my column into two parts to better answer your questions.

Part One:

I give thanks to God for the privilege I had to be born in a blessed Christian home. My parents gave me and my siblings the best Christian education at home, schools and University.

I got married when I was 22 years old, and after 55 years of a good life together, I became a widow. This past month, I just celebrated my 80th birthday. I have two beautiful daughters, one perfect son-in-law. I am also blessed with two grandchildren, a boy and a girl, and they are the joy in my life. My family, good friends, and my church family help me focus on my preparation for an eternal heavenly life. My life is a living testimony that Jesus was, and is always with me. He will always be my best friend, because I chose to be faithful to Him forever. There is nothing more powerful than our prayers, nothing stronger than our faith, and nothing grew better than our God.

Psalm 121 is loved by my parents and siblings, and we all know it by heart. It is a promise that God keeps us from harm, and he will watch over our life now and forever.

We also love:

Proverbs 18:10 - "The name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run to in and are safe."

Psalm 37:4 - "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart."

I will be back next month with Part Two.

Until then, please learn to be happy with Jesus in your life.

From my heart, sincerely,

Esther
